Pressing for Decals

 Printed Decals

  1. Set heat press or iron to 315 Degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Preheat your garment before pressing.
  3. Using a HTV transfer sheet, place the sheet on top of entire design to remove the backing off of the decal. You will want to use a credit card or scraper to allow the design to pick up onto the transfer sheet. Your main goal of this is to remove the backing away from the decal.
  4. Place the decal, color side up, onto your garment, and press for ten seconds, using a protective sheet or Teflon.
  5. Remove the transfer sheet from your garment while still hot.
  6. Repress decal once more, using a protective sheet or Teflon, for ten seconds.
  7. Enjoy your newly applied printed decal!

 

Cold Peel Screen Decals

  1. Set your heat press for 360 Degrees Fahrenheit
  2. Preheat your garment before pressing.
  3. Place the decal onto your garment, colorful side up.
  4. Press at 360 Degrees Fahrenheit for ten seconds. No need to use a Teflon or protective sheet.
  5. Allow the decal time to cool off completely before peeling the transfer sheet away. This is to be done as an all at once motion, like pulling off a Band-Aid.
  6. Press your garment once more, using a protective sheet or Teflon, for ten seconds.
  7. Enjoy your newly applied decal!

 

Hot Peel Screen Decals

  1. Set your heat press to 360 Degrees Fahrenheit
  2. Preheat your garment before pressing.
  3. Place the decal onto your shirt, grid side up.
  4. Press for ten seconds. No need to use a Teflon or protective sheet.
  5. Peel the grid sheet while hot.
  6. No second press is needed, enjoy your newly applied decal!

Direct To Film Prints

  1. Set your heat press to 285 Degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Preheat your garment before pressing.
  3. Place the design onto the garment, colorful side up.
  4. Using a parchment paper, press the decal for thirty seconds.
  5. Allow the decal time to cool off completely before peeling the transfer sheet away. This is to be done as an all at once motion, like pulling off a Band-Aid.
  6. Press the decal once more, still using a parchment paper, for fifteen seconds.
  7. Enjoy your newly applied decal!

 

Direct to Film Screens

  1. Set your heat press to 300 Degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. Preheat your garment before pressing.
  3. Place the decal onto your garment, colorful side up.
  4. Without using a protective sheet or Teflon, press your decal for ten seconds.
  5. Wait five to ten seconds and then peel the transfer sheet off your decal while it is still hot.
  6. Press the decal once more for five seconds with parchment paper.
  7. Enjoy your newly applied decal!
